In June the P2287R6 example had to stay commented out because no compiler accepted it. On 2026-10-18 GCC's development branch (17.0.0 20261018) compiles B{.a = 1, .b = 2} for a derived aggregate with -std=c++29. GCC 16.1 and 16.2 in C++26 mode and Clang trunk in -std=c++2d reject it.
